Jacinda Taggett

Cognitive Neuroscience PhD Student

About

Throughout many years, I have been interning and working under the guidance of many stellar professors in cognitive neuroscience.

Working with Dr. Charan Ranganath initially encouraged me to pursue neuroimaging of human memory, and prioritize science communication outside of work. Interning with Dr. Steven Luck allowed me to gain more skills in cognitive neuroscience, such as EEG and eye tracking, while simultaneously becoming aware of how important accessibility is in academia. Finally, my time working with Dr. William Jagust helped me to build my data science skills every day and advance my mentorship skills in my free time.

Starting August 2025, I will be a cognitive neuroscience PhD Student at UCLA, where I will look deeper into the cognitive neuroscience of memory under guidance of Dr. David Clewett.
